ZOMG! Polaroid 600 Film MOTHER-LODE - Best day eva, so far.
So after searching craigslist every day for weeks, I found 10 packs of Time-zero, recently expired for $6 a pack.
I then lost them because I acted just a little too slow (they were located over an hour away… I couldn’t get there until the weekend etc, w/e- it ended up being good karma anyway- because apparently some girl had called the day before me from Colorado or something and said she was sending a check, the guy didn’t believe her and said he would sell it to me. The day I was supposed to come up, the check arrived and he told me sorry.).
I’m now officially over it.
Because of my hero (I don’t know if he would want me to use his name), but this dude from California. Several days after morning the loss of my Time-zero mishap, I stumbled across a listing in California for several packs of 600 Film. I call. Turns out he has in the neighborhood of 28 to 30 packs “just lying around”. So he says after I mail him a check he’ll send me a flat rate box with as many of the packs as he can find lying around.
I sent him a check a little over a week ago.
Today I received a fairly heavy USPS flat rate box from California…
This is what it looks like:

52 Packs, 520 exposures, of glorious Polaroid
Yes, today, might be the best day ever. And to MP from Cali, you are my personal hero, thank you- you are a nice, kind hearted, and honest person.
I am so stoked.
Now to start the adventures.

Wow that’s amazing! If you don’t mind me asking (I stumbled across your blog through google) — how many exposures does each white box have? I’m bidding for film on eBay and would love to know.

Thank you so much!

Each white box contains a filmpack with 10 exposures. Back when I wrote this- a good price was between $1-$1.50 per exposure. Now, I have no idea. I imagine its’ probably twice that at least.
